The Sky domain consists in the high places of firmament. Within the world, the firmaments comprise the Loft and the Sea. Skyfolk of the Loft know the Sea as the Undersky. Skyfolk of the Sea are more commonly known as Seafolk, and the Seafolk know the Sky as the Loftsea. The natural flow of magic in the cycle of the arcana does not differentiate between the two firmaments.

Skyfolk tend to feel at home in the mountains, plateaus, steppes, and highlands of the world. Seafolk, in turn, tend to feel at home in the island lagoons, bays, reefs, and shallows of the oceans.

Air-charged magic — or aether — flows upward to the Sky. Air-charged Skyfolk include kindreds with affinities for aetherial phenomena, such as wind, lightning, light, and breath.
