Paragons
Paragons are deific manifestations of condensed magic, each with its own flavor and charge. They are worshipped by gods as some and revered by most as the first and foremost among the folk of each domain.
Paragons form in many ways over the course of aeons, but they are typically a long-term effect of persistent confluences — naturally forming, metaphysical pools of gradually growing and condensing magic.
Confluences can form within places, inanimate objects, and even living things. Creatures who become the host of a confluence typically become immortal given enough time. Once a paragon has formed, they will persist even if the confluence dissipates or detaches — although they will not continue to grow more powerful.
Dragons
Dragons are the most common form of paragon born from localities, but they may vary greatly in size, shape, color, character, and demeanor even among dragons of the same fettle.
