Though he has a pair of mobile bodies for use when needed - one plain and unassuming, the other black, with gold filigree in flowing curves all over it - Grimsby spends most of his time resting as a customized furnace at his Sparkfolk "speakeasy", [[:locations:Grimsby's]]. The furnace is designed to look like a humanoid face, with a grille that can open and close like a mouth and insulated glass "eyes" that reveal the flames within.
